Annual Sports Day is an important event in the life of every school. Sports themselves have a vital role in making a child sound physically as well as mentally. The Annual Sports Day of our school was held on 9th of September 2023. It was held in the playground of our school. Mr. V. Nandakumar IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, Government of India was the chief guest. The sports day began with lamp lightning by respected dignitaries followed by prayer song by choir group. The four houses of the school (Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Topaz) cheered for their respective members, The Chief Guest Mr. V. Nandakumar started the events for the day at 9:30 a.m. with an inaugural address. The Sports Day started with the March past of the four different houses by students of primary & secondary. After the march past, the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like 100 metres dash, , 200 metres dash etc.. The Correspondent , Principal and the Chief Guest gave away prizes to the participants. Points were given to the four houses depending on the performance of their representatives in the event. Overall Championship was awarded to Ruby House and the runner up championship awarded to Topaz House.
